Sunday February 27, 2011 The pictures of worship in heaven should thrill us. What’s happening with every glimpse into the heavenly? How does our practice here on earth reflect that? Sacrificial worship is an earthly reflection of the worship going on continuously in heaven.

Sunday February 20, 2011 Paul spends what amounts to eleven chapters reviewing what we believe. Then he uses the word ‘therefore’ to change gears and he begins talking about how we should live. What we believe is the wellspring of how we act. Nearly a review of the apathy studies from January—this will be a call to account for our actions in light of our professions. Sunday February 13, 2011 David prepares to build an altar to the Lord (the season in his life from which this springs is worthy of consideration) and make sacrifices. I have a little money left over; a little time available; a little energy to expend… Sacrificial worship costs. Join us in 2 Samuel 24.

Sunday February 6, 2011 The Genesis account tells us that Cain was a worker of the soil and Abel kept flocks. Then both brothers bring an offering to the Lord. God “looked with favor on Abel and his offering, BUT on Cain and his offering he did not look with favor.” Why? What was the difference? How much of our worship attempts are sight driven rather than faith fed? Worship that is sacrificial springs from faith. Join us in Genesis 4 for this study.
