Guest speaker Dan Hatch shares about his work with Straight Ahead Ministries, serving young people that are dealing with lives of crime and addiction.  Dan reminds us that though we may not all work in vocational ministry, we all have encounters with people that need the hope, healing and freedom that Jesus offers and we have a responsibility to reach out to them.

Running the Race Part 1

Guest speaker Jesse Andreasen.  Being a Christian is much more than ascribing to a set of beliefs or saying a sinners prayer to get your ticket to heaven.  To be a follower of Jesus is to run a race, and we are called not only to start it, but to run to the finish line.  In Part 1 we consider the vision we need to run this race and the discipline that is required on our part to remove those things that slow us down.
