Exodus 19 and Acts 2 Guest speaker Jesse Andreasen shares a message about the biblical holiday of Pentecost (Shavuot in Hebrew). This study explores the unmistakable parallels between the giving of the 10 Commandments (commemorated on Pentecost) and the outpouring of the Spirit in Acts 2. These texts help us to recognize the context in which God gave these gifts and challenges us to renew our commitment to the mission He has for His people.

This Week Genesis 2, Exodus 16, Psalm 95, Hebrews 3 and Question 103 from the Heidelberg Catechism. God commanded a day of rest for his people, but the Sabbath was also meant to foreshadow the rest that Christ would bring.
