The Advent series for this year will observe God at work in the details, moving people into places, and arranging the particulars to fulfill His purposes. Each Sunday’s consideration will be based around appearances of the word ‘but’ in the Biblical passages noted below, to recognize God’s hand.

This Week - Matthew 1:1-25

1 Thessalonians 5, 2 Corinthians 12 During this season people often pause to consider the good things they are thankful for.  This is a great practice.  God's word calls us to grow even deeper in this, becoming people that can be thankful at all times, in even the worst situations, because of the hope we have in Christ which transcends all circumstances in this life.

1 Chronicles 16 Sacred and secular have often been misunderstood as synonymous with right and wrong.  This message explores a more biblical definition of sacred and the implications it has for followers of Jesus.
